Bury hydrants have a 1-piece variable flow plunger, large cushion type seal not easily damaged. Positive shut-off even when foreign particles are present. Automatic drain feature. Plunger opens drain to prevent freezing. Tamper-proof lock can be locked in the closed position by inserting a padlock or bolt thru hole in link. Cast iron head and handle. Inlet: 3/4 In. NPT (National Pipe Thread). Casting: 1 In. galvanized steel pipe. 7/16 In. galvanized pump rod. Overall length of hydrant is bury depth plus 24 In. Polyester powder coated finish. Made in USA. Not for use in California. Lead free.
